You don't type a message. The card is printed and folded into the box before it ships, and it reads:

What it's actually made of
316L surgical stainless steel. The gold pieces are electroplated with real 18K gold — a finish, not solid gold. Low-nickel, so it won't irritate her skin or leave a green mark.
We'd rather tell you that now than have you find out when it arrives.
Check the spelling twice
We engrave exactly what you type — capitals, accents, nicknames and all. There is no spell-check on a necklace, and we can't know whether "Gabbi" is a typo or the way she spells it.
You'll see your exact text before you pay. If something looks wrong on your confirmation email, write to us within 12 hours and we correct it free, before it goes to engraving. If we get it wrong, we remake it free — no return needed.

Engraved to order in our US facility. No overseas airmail, no five-week wait. Production takes 3 to 5 business days, shipping 2 to 5 more — most orders arrive within 7 to 10 business days.
Order by December 10 for standard delivery before Christmas, or December 17 with priority shipping at checkout.
If it isn't right
Personalized pieces can't be resold, so we don't take them back for a change of mind. But if the engraving doesn't match what you typed, or it arrives damaged, send us a photo within 30 days and we replace it free.
